Thankyou...........My name is Elaine Batson, I am an artist on the south coast of England.I was born in Berlin ,and went to school in England and Germany, I attended the Bournemouth Arts Institute (now The Arts University Bournemouth) from 2004 to 2008 studying for a BA honours Fine Art Degree .During this time i continued working as a staff nurse and Activity Co-Ordinater in a Hospice where i had worked since 1991 until June 2011. Time for change!! Much of my work varies greatly as you can all see! I have done silversmithing and ceramics in the past and turn my hands to anything creative. I strongly believe in the power of Art Therapy and the positive impact it can have on anyone . Portraits, Subject Art, Media Design, Hand drawn illustration. I use acrylic paint , crayons ,Derwent being a favourite and Karismacolor , pencils, and i want to start using oils.Watch this space!? Thanks for looking at the Blog!
